We start by understanding the real state of your business, systems, data, and decision-making, without assumptions.
We translate analysis into a strategy that's specific, sequenced, and built for your organization's constraints.
We implement the systems that make the strategy self-sustaining, long after the engagement ends.
Different problems call for different tools. Here's how to tell which one fits where your business is right now.
For when the problem is what your business spends: hidden costs, thin margins, pricing you're not sure is covering you. A cost-mapping engagement that ends with a real number and a plan, not just a spreadsheet.
For when the problem is how your business runs: undocumented processes, manual busywork, workflows nobody's mapped out. A six-step framework that scans, redesigns, and automates the way your operations actually work.
Practicing since 2007. Engagements tracked since the 2020 launch of Nykam Solutions.
Nykam Solutions is a Miami-based consulting firm. That matters more than it sounds. This is a market built on small operators, family businesses, and first-generation founders, spanning hospitality, logistics, trade, professional services, and the creative economy, often across two or three languages. The opportunity here is real. So is the exposure: seasonal revenue, thin margins, licensing and permitting that changes by municipality, vendor contracts signed under pressure, and a regulatory environment that does not scale down for a business of five people.
Most owners in that position are not short on effort. They are short on visibility. You might be making money without knowing whether you are making a profit. Your processes may work right up until the one person holding them in their head takes a week off. And the risks that end businesses, a failed inspection, a contract clause nobody read, customer data sitting somewhere it should not, rarely announce themselves in advance.
Nykam is led from two directions at once. On one side, formal discipline: project management (PMP), Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, business analysis through the IIBA, and AI governance grounded in NIST frameworks. On the other, two decades of actually operating businesses, in events, food service, and digital services, through licensing, inspections, vendor contracts, and payroll that had to clear on Friday.
That combination is the point. Consultants who only know the frameworks hand you a binder. Operators who only know the grind repeat what worked for them and hope it transfers. Knowing both means knowing which controls a business your size genuinely needs, which ones are expensive theater, and where the compliance and margin risks hide before they surface as a fine, a lost contract, or a year of thin profit.
We do not tell you what is broken and leave you to figure it out. We sit with you, learn how your business actually operates, build systems you can run without us, and stay until they hold.
Different industries, same blind spots: costs nobody has fully mapped, processes that live in one person's head, and pricing set by guesswork. Shared with client permission, identifying details withheld under confidentiality agreement.
Priced every menu on ingredient cost alone. Once labor, delivery, and rental breakage were mapped in, two of their five packages were losing money on every booking. Overhead was locked in by a bad contract, so we worked the levers that were still open: repricing, cutting waste, and renegotiating her venue terms. Margin improved 40% and revenue rose 60%.
Walk-in and phone orders only, inventory tracked in a notebook. Now self-serve booking, automatic invoicing, and live inventory, so double-bookings stopped and the owner got their Saturdays back.
Grant-ready on paper, not in practice. We built the documentation, visibility strategy, and internal controls donors actually ask for, which opened the door to sponsorships and government grants.
A former pro athlete building a training business from zero. We mapped the real cost of delivery, then set structure, service packages, and pricing that covered the hours actually worked plus equipment and travel time, with a marketing plan and Facebook ads running before the first session was ever booked.
